Stitchy Saturdays – Some Finishes

Each Saturday, I will feature either something I’m currently stitching, something I’ve just finished stitching, or something I’ve just designed. I hope you’ll all join me in displaying some of your own work and leaving a link to your post in the comments below.

I’ve actually completed quite a few pieces over the last few months, but I realise I haven’t displayed many of them yet, so here are some of them now…

Top left: Transport theme ATC (Design from a magazine)
Top right: Spring theme ATC (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)
Bottom left: Irish theme ATC (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)
Bottom right: Royal Wedding theme ATC (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)

All these ATCs have been sent on to other people as exchanges, so they’ve ended up all over the world!

Top left: 12-faced floral biscornu (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)
Top right: Tri-face floral pomander (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)
Bottom left: Lavender sachet (Design from Sablaise HERE)
Bottom right: Blue snowflake bauble (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)

The biscornu was for an exchange but so far I’ve not heard if it’s arrived at its destination. The tri-face pomander was stitched as a gift. The lavender sachet design was part of the May stitching challenge at the Needlecraft Haven forum. And it might seem a little early for stitching Christmas decorations, but it pays to start early and get more of them finished in time for the festive season – this one will be decorating my tree this year!

Top left: Four Seasons Blackwork Band Sampler (Design from Kincavel Krosses HERE)
Top centre: Floral card bookmark (Design by Kincavel Krosses – not released)
Top right: Floral Bookmark (Design by Kincavel Krosses HERE and finished bookmark for sale HERE)
Bottom: A Right Royal Bookmark (Design by Kincavel Krosses HERE)

I gave the Four Seasons bookmark to my sister as part of her birthday present. The floral card bookmark was a quick stitch for a colleague who confessed to me that she dog-ears pages! The finished floral bookmark is for sale at my Folksy store.  The Right Royal bookmark was stitched for an exchange, but the design is available for sale from my Folksy store.

So, as you can see, I’ve been quite busy with my stitching over the last few months!

If you’ve been stitching anything, I hope you’ll share and link back here!

  1. You have been busy 🙂
I stitched your floral bookmark as a gift for a friend. I altered it slightly to make it a quicker stitch and I was really pleased with how it turned out. I used DMC color variations for the flower instead of two separate shades. Pic here ->
