I’m never been a huge fan of The Beatles (and before you ask, I’m not keen on The Rolling Stones either – I prefer The Who!), so the individual members of the band have never really featured on my list of favourite artists. However, Pipes of Peace by Paul McCartney (is one song I do like.
It’s mostly because of the video, I’ll admit, as it looks like an old war movie, depicting the famous 1914 Christmas Truce during WWI. The song hit the charts in December 1983 and stayed and #1 for two weeks.
