Koast Radio – Local Radio for Local People!

My sister Vicky is one of the bravest people I know. A short while ago, she quit her full-time job at the local council to realise a dream she’s had for years.

Koast Radio is her dream.

Koast Radio is a local radio station geared towards people living in the north-east of England, more specifically the Wansbeck, Blyth and Morpeth area of Northumberland, however, Koast will kick off online, meaning anyone can tune in and listen.

Vicky says:
“It’s an opportunity for anyone in the local community to become involved.

We want to work with voluntary organisations and statutory bodies in order to make the most of the talents in the area as well as ensuring important messages get across to listeners.

Koast will run a wide range of programmes to suit all tastes, including commercial music, specialist music, phone ins, debates and loads more

Come on, get involved, it’s the opportunity you have been waiting for! Koastradio@hotmail.co.uk to find out more.”

If you click on the logo at the top of this post, you’ll be taken to the Koast Radio Facebook Group, where there will be regular updates on progress.

The new website (www.koastradio.co.uk) should also be up and running by the end of the week!
